Viewing at Dimbangombe
 Bush walks - Tracking elephant, buffalo and lion on
foot is one of Africa's most exhilarating experiences. Join one of
our guides for an early morning walk and you have a chance of spotting
any one of these species, or perhaps giraffe browsing on the acacias,
or a herd of sable -- the most beautiful of all the antelope -- cavorting
in a grassy vlei. The bird life at Dimbangombe is equally spectacular,
ranging from the brilliantly colored carmine bee-eater, to the lumbering
ground hornbill. Guinea fowl and francolin flocks number in the hundreds.
- Game-viewing drives - Our open-air
vehicle provides an excellent platform for game- viewing. Night drives
enable you to seek the rarely seen nocturnal animals by spotlight.
- Anti-Poaching
Patrol - Join our game scouts on their daily patrol as
they monitor poaching activity and the health of our wildlife populations.
You'll search for snares and traps, record game sited, their numbers
and condition, and much more. Often exciting, always rewarding.

'real Africa' came to life for my wife and me when we had the
good fortune to visit Dibangombe. Roger and his staff are great
hosts and the setting is perfect. I must say it is an 'adrenaline
rush' to be on a bush walk and have a herd of buffalo stampede
by you.
